ASMO is a joint venture between DHL and Aramco, combining logistics expertise with a supply-chain ecosystem.
The company planned to provide integrated procurement and supply-chain services for industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical sectors, initially focusing on Saudi Aramco and its affiliates.
Role objective
Oversee operations and management of an assigned ASMO site or facility.
Lead a team, manage resources, meet safety and compliance standards, and deliver high-quality products or services.
The role spans multiple site-management disciplines and includes shaping processes and methods.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the site’s long-term strategy and annual business plans; deliver financial and strategic objectives.
- Report progress, opportunities, challenges, and mitigations to the Chief Operations Officer.
- Monitor performance and KPIs; address deviations and oversee production, maintenance, inventory, and logistics.
- Improve productivity, reduce costs, and optimize resources through process improvement and corrective action.
- Manage employee performance, workforce needs, recruitment, training, development, and organizational structure.
- Prepare and monitor the site budget and recommend actions to address financial underperformance.
- Lead changes to site systems, processes, and practices; develop policies and procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide regular and ad hoc management reports, strategic insight, and recommendations to senior operations leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required.
- A relevant master’s degree is preferred.
- CSCP, PMP, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English.
- 13 years’ experience in a similar or related field, including 7 years in managerial or leading positions.
