Role Objective

Responsible for safe, accurate, and efficient execution of inbound warehouse and yard processes during the assigned shift at the SPARK site.

Translates the Operations Manager's plan into daily execution by coordinating people, equipment, docks, receiving activities, and system transactions.

Accountable for unloading, receipt verification, discrepancy control, put-away readiness, productivity, safety, quality, and timely escalation.

General Responsibilities

  • Lead daily inbound activities including gate and dock coordination, unloading, receipt verification, damage checks, documentation, system receiving, and staging for put-away.
  • Allocate labour, MHE, dock space, and work priorities based on the inbound plan, appointments, urgency, and available capacity.
  • Ensure materials are received safely and accurately against approved documents and customer requirements.
  • Control inbound discrepancies, damages, shortages, excess quantities, unidentified material, and documentation gaps; quarantine or hold material and escalate promptly.
  • Ensure WMS transactions are completed accurately and on time, with physical material status aligned to system status.
  • Coordinate with inventory, yard, transport, customer service, and outbound teams to resolve constraints and protect service continuity.
  • Monitor inbound productivity, dock utilization, truck waiting time, receiving accuracy, backlog, and put-away readiness.
  • Lead shift start-up, floor control, operational problem solving, and shift handover.
  • Support SOP development, root-cause analysis, Lean activities, and continuous improvement in inbound operations.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's or master's degree is not mandatory for this frontline warehouse supervision role.

  • Candidates without a degree may be considered with at least 10 years of relevant, progressive, verifiable warehouse or logistics experience including substantial frontline leadership responsibility.
  • Operational competence, safety leadership, WMS capability, people supervision, inventory discipline, and measurable delivery results are valued over academic credentials alone.
  • Warehouse operations, logistics, safety, MHE, WMS, Lean, or supervisory certifications are advantageous but not mandatory; relevant equipment licences are required where the role operates or controls licensed equipment.
  • 7-10 years of relevant warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial operations experience with minimum 3 years leading or supervising frontline operational teams is preferred.

Location

  • Abqaiq-SPARK, Abqaiq, SA.

Deadline

  • Deadline is one month from posting.
