About ASMO

ASMO is a joint venture between DHL and Saudi Aramco focused on integrated procurement and supply chain services.

Its target sectors include industrial, energy, chemical, and petrochemical businesses, with plans to serve Saudi Arabia and the wider MENA region.

Role objective

The Outbound Supervisor leads safe, accurate, and efficient outbound warehouse and yard processes at the SPARK site.

The role turns the Operations Manager's plan into shift execution by coordinating people, equipment, picking, staging, loading, dispatch, and system transactions.

The supervisor is accountable for order execution, shipment accuracy, productivity, safety, quality, cutoff adherence, and timely escalation.

Outbound operations

  • Lead order release coordination, picking, packing where applicable, staging, verification, loading, and dispatch confirmation.
  • Allocate labor, MHE, staging space, and priorities based on urgency, transport schedules, cutoff times, and capacity.
  • Ensure correct material, quantity, condition, and documentation are shipped against approved customer orders.
  • Manage shortages, holds, damaged materials, picking discrepancies, loading issues, and transport delays; escalate promptly.
  • Complete BY-WMS transactions accurately and on time, keeping system status aligned with physical material movement.
  • Coordinate with inventory, inbound, yard, transport, planning, and customer service teams to protect delivery commitments.
  • Monitor productivity, picking accuracy, staging backlog, loading performance, truck turnaround, and on-time dispatch.
  • Lead shift start-up, floor control, problem solving, and shift handover.

Experience and capability

  • Hands-on outbound supervision experience in warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, or contract logistics operations.
  • Experience leading frontline employees and coordinating labor, MHE, staging, and workload in a shift-based environment.
  • Experience with WMS or equivalent enterprise systems, including picking, loading, dispatch, and exception transactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage shipment accuracy, shortages, holds, documentation issues, safety risks, and operational backlog.
  • Ability to use KPIs, daily management routines, and structured problem solving to improve outbound performance.

Education and preferred background

  • A high school diploma, technical diploma, vocational qualification, or equivalent practical background is acceptable; a bachelor's or master's degree is not mandatory.
  • Without a degree, candidates may be considered with at least 10 years of relevant progressive, verifiable warehouse or logistics experience, including substantial frontline leadership.
  • Seven to ten years of relevant operations experience and at least three years leading frontline teams are preferred.
  • Warehouse, logistics, safety, MHE, WMS, Lean, or supervisory certifications are advantageous, not mandatory. Relevant equipment licenses are required when operating or directly controlling licensed equipment.

Location

  • The position is based at the Abqaiq-SPARK site in Saudi Arabia.
