Overview

  • We are currently looking for a suitable candidate for the position of Procurement Coordinator.
  • Roles and responsibilities:
  • Support IT and non-IT procurement activities across the bank in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Receive, review, and validate purchase requisitions from various departments for completeness and budget availability.
  • Evaluate vendor quotations, conduct commercial comparisons and detailed bid comparison
  • Manage and respond to procurement support desk queries within defined service levels.
  • Generate, review, and process Purchase Orders (POs) in the procurement system.
  • Coordinate vendor onboarding, due diligence, and documentation in compliance with bank policies.
  • Liaise with Finance for invoice verification, reconciliation, and timely payment processing.
  • Provide budget monitoring and cost control support to ensure procurement within approved limits.
  • Ensure adherence to department KPIs
  • Manage RFP process inline with Procurement Policy and IT Governance Process

Technical & IT Skills

  • Knowledge of IT hardware, software, cloud solutions and digital tools
  • Familiarity with ERP procurement modules
  • Understanding of IT asset management concepts and lifecycle
  • Skills in MIS reporting, dashboards, and data analytics
  • Ability to work with AI‑driven tools for workflow automation, vendor analysis, or ticketing systems
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data management platforms

Procurement & Commercial Skills

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, RFQ/RFP, vendor evaluation & compliance
  • Ability to negotiate with IT vendors, other service providers, and contractors
  • Knowledge of contract management for IT products and services
  • Ability to perform cost analysis, TCO analysis, and budget tracking

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication and coordination with IT, procurement, finance & end‑users
  • Problem-solving and ability to work in a fast-paced, digital transformation environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Experience

  • 3 to 5 years experience in IT procurement coordination
  • Knowledge of IT Hardware and software systems, IT Projects , IT Contract documentation
  • Prior experience with procurement helpdesk or ticketing systems is preferred
  • Experience in supporting digitalization initiatives or system upgrades
  • Exposure to MIS preparation, analytics, dashboarding, or reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology / Computer Science
  • Business Administration with IT specialization preferred
  • Supply Chain Management with IT exposure (CIPP or similar certification)
  • Certifications in data analytics (Power BI, Excel)
