The SRO Operations environment supports global business clients and service partners across HPE NonStop Operations, Mainframe Operations, Networks, and Distributed Systems.
The team strengthens its 24/7 support model through operational efficiencies, automation, and improved monitoring.
What you will do
- Provide 24/7/365 technical support for RBC’s global HPE NonStop environments.
- Manage faults and incidents, escalate problems, and perform change management.
- Run and monitor batches.
- Recommend process improvements and improve client service.
- Automate manual tasks, suppress messages, and reduce operational toil.
Must-have qualifications
- Demonstrated written, oral, and presentation skills, including assessing stakeholder and project communication needs.
- Strong understanding of technology and/or the financial services industry.
- Ability to learn tools and systems quickly, apply new knowledge, and transfer knowledge to others.
- Ability to manage expectations with team members, management, and clients and deliver on them.
- Strong knowledge of HPE NonStop (Tandem)/IBM iSeries/NSK technologies and operating systems, Unix/AIX/Linux, network and distributed systems, and console-based technologies.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Moogsoft, ITIL Foundation, and mainframe platforms and tools including TSO/ISPF, VSAM, Endevor, File-Aid, Xpediter, and SPUFI.
Nice-to-have qualifications
- Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large publicly traded corporation.
- Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers.
- Strategic thinking and interpersonal skills for working across functions and businesses.

- The operations support model is 24/7/365.
