What you will do
- Provide continuous technical support for global HPE NonStop environments.
- Handle faults and incidents, escalate problems, and support change management.
- Run and monitor batch processes and recommend process improvements.
- Automate manual tasks, suppress messages, and reduce operational toil.
Must-have qualifications
- Demonstrated written, oral, and presentation communication skills, including assessing stakeholder and project communication needs.
- Strong understanding of technology and/or the financial services industry.
- Ability to learn tools and systems quickly, apply new knowledge, and transfer knowledge to others.
- Ability to manage expectations with the team, management, and clients and deliver on them.
- Strong knowledge of HPE NonStop (Tandem)/NSK, IBM iSeries, Unix/AIX/Linux, networks, distributed systems, and console-based technologies.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Moogsoft, ITIL Foundation, and mainframe tools including TSO/ISPF, VSAM, Endevor, File Aid, Xpediter, and SPUFI.
Nice-to-have qualifications
- Experience in a matrix environment, such as a large publicly traded corporation.
- Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers.
- Strategic thinking and interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses.
