Key responsibilities
- Design, configure, implement, and maintain Cisco network infrastructure and L2/L3 switching.
- Configure and troubleshoot BGP and OSPF routing; manage Palo Alto firewalls, security policies, VPNs, and security events.
- Configure Cisco Wireless Controllers and Access Points; manage LAN/WAN, IP networking, MPLS, and ISP connectivity.
- Support load balancing, QoS, and network performance optimization; monitor availability, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and use monitoring tools to identify anomalies and potential threats.
- Use AI-assisted tools for troubleshooting and automation and support AI-driven optimization, predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and security monitoring.
- Assess network performance and recommend improvements to ensure infrastructure is secure, reliable, scalable, and highly available.
- Provide technical support and guidance, maintain network documentation and procedures, and participate in on-call support when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum four years of hands-on experience in network and security management.
- Strong hands-on Cisco networking and Palo Alto firewall experience.
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, L2/L3 switching, VLANs, QoS, MPLS, and IP networking.
- Experience with Cisco Wireless Controllers and Access Points and network monitoring, security, and troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of load balancing and ISP/WAN connectivity.
- Familiarity with AI-powered network monitoring, automation, troubleshooting, security monitoring, anomaly detection, and predictive network analytics.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and respond effectively to incidents.
- Willingness to participate in on-call support when required.
Preferred certifications
- CCNP or CCIE preferred.
- PCNSE preferred.
Pay
- QAR 10,000–12,000 per month.
