Role Overview

Network and Security Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot supported Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, UniFi, TP-Link Omada, and D-Link switching and wireless systems.
• Manage VLANs, routing, wireless controllers, connectivity, network records, diagrams, and configuration backups; coordinate with ISPs and vendors.
• Install and manage FortiGate firewalls, ISP connections, Multi-WAN, SD-WAN, firewall policies, NAT, routes, and high availability.
• Configure and troubleshoot FortiGate SSL VPN and site-to-site IPsec VPN in live production environments.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services, RDP, RDS, virtualization, physical servers, and storage.
• Configure and monitor AWS services, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, email security, backups, endpoint security, and recovery services.

Client and Infrastructure Support

• Manage infrastructure for the employer, client projects, and AMC customers across the GCC.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain network, firewall, server, cloud, and endpoint infrastructure.
• Independently troubleshoot issues, coordinate with clients, internal teams, vendors, and ISPs, and support multiple client locations.
• Follow security policies and change-management procedures and maintain incident reports, technical documentation, and configuration records.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; an IT or Networking diploma may be considered with strong practical experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and network security.
• UAE work experience in IT infrastructure, networking, firewall administration, or technical support is required.
• Experience supporting corporate networks, multiple locations, client projects, or AMC environments is highly preferred.
• Candidates without hands-on FortiGate VPN implementation and troubleshooting experience are not suitable.

Technical Skills Required

• Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP; supported switching, wireless, and firewall platforms.
• Hands-on FortiGate firewall administration, ISP configuration, Multi-WAN, SD-WAN, firewall policies, NAT, high availability, SSL VPN, and site-to-site IPsec VPN.
• Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, RDP, RDS, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, physical servers, NAS/SAN, and RAID.
• AWS EC2, VPC, security groups, EBS, S3, and IAM; Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and email migration.
• Email security, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, Microsoft Defender features, Acronis Cyber Protect, backup and recovery, and listed endpoint-security platforms.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Requirements

• CCNA or equivalent networking knowledge is preferred.
• Fortinet NSE 4 or equivalent FortiGate administration knowledge is preferred.
• Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, or Azure certifications are preferred.
• A valid UAE driving licence is described as preferred/required for client-site visits.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills; ability to manage assignments and coordinate with clients and technical teams.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across the UAE as required; immediate joiners or candidates able to join within 15 days are preferred.

Pay

• Pay is AED 3,500–AED 8,000 per month.

Work Location

• Work is in person; travel to client sites across the UAE is required as needed.
