Role overview

Network infrastructure and wireless

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco Catalyst, HPE Aruba CX, Ruckus, Ubiquiti UniFi, TP-Link Omada, and D-Link switches.
• Configure VLANs, access and trunk ports, inter-VLAN routing, Layer 2/Layer 3 switching, STP, link aggregation, and PoE.
• Manage wireless access points, controllers, cloud platforms, SSIDs, guest and corporate Wi-Fi, VLAN mapping, and authentication.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, Wi-Fi coverage, interference, slow speeds, switch ports, fiber links, and SFP modules.
• Maintain network diagrams, IP records, VLAN documentation, and switch configuration backups; coordinate with ISPs and vendors.

Firewalls, ISP configuration, SD-WAN, and VPN

• Install, configure, manage, and troubleshoot FortiGate 40F, 60F, and 80F firewalls and ISP connections.
• Configure Multi-WAN, SD-WAN, health checks, link selection, firewall policies, NAT, routes, and supported high-availability configurations.
• Configure and troubleshoot SSL VPN and Site-to-Site IPsec VPN tunnels, user authentication, portals, IP pools, access permissions, and routing.
• Troubleshoot VPN negotiation, authentication, encryption, routing, NAT, dynamic DNS, ISP, and public IP issues.
• Review logs, investigate blocked traffic, upgrade firmware, check license expiry, back up configurations, and maintain security documentation.

Windows Server and Active Directory

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments and Active Directory users, groups, OUs, and Group Policy.
• Manage DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, domain joining, authentication, account lockouts, file servers, shared folders, NTFS permissions, and access.
• Configure and troubleshoot RDP, Remote Desktop Services, collections, licensing, RDS CALs, and licensing modes.
• Perform patching, updates, maintenance, performance monitoring, and security checks.

Virtualization, servers, and AWS

• Manage VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V environments, virtual machines, networks, storage, and snapshots.
• Install, upgrade, migrate, and maintain physical and virtual servers; manage NAS/SAN storage, RAID, and resource utilization.
• Configure AWS EC2, VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, EBS volumes, snapshots, S3 storage, and IAM permissions.
• Monitor cloud availability, resource utilization, storage capacity, and costs; troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.

Microsoft 365 and email

• Administer Microsoft 365 through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Exchange Admin Center.
• The provided description continues with management of Entra ID users, licenses, mailboxes, shared mailboxes, and distribution groups, then cuts off.

Requirements

• Experienced IT infrastructure and network security engineer with strong hands-on technical experience.
• Able to independently manage networks, firewalls, servers, cloud platforms, email systems, backups, and endpoint security.
• Demonstrated practical experience configuring and troubleshooting FortiGate SSL VPN and Site-to-Site IPsec VPN tunnels in live production environments.
