Role Overview
Serve as the lead analyst for a statewide client-services financial tracking system and assessment tool supporting the South Carolina Department on Aging.
Create and run reports and perform data analysis to support business management decisions.
Job Responsibilities
- Support, train users on, and plan features for the statewide client-services financial tracking system and assessment tool.
- Research and compile data for annual and federal reporting.
- Build reports in CaseWorthy, ServTracker, the data warehouse, and Excel for the Aging network and agency requests.
- Recommend solutions and provide initial diagnosis of security, hardware, software, phone, and network issues.
- Work with Shared Services as needed.
- Manage documentation and procurement processes for IT equipment and hardware.
- Supervise the Learning Management Specialist.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information science, statistics, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute year for year.
- At least 4 years of experience in IT support and database management.
- At least 2 years working with SQL queries and designing data structures.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Work Environment and Travel
- The position is situated in an office environment, with most of the day spent at a desk using a computer, reading documents, training, and talking on the phone.
- Some travel, including overnight travel, is required.
Compensation
- Salary is $75,000 to $80,000 yearly.
