About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and supporting the hotel s IT infrastructure, including computers, networks, servers, and software systems.
- Respond to IT-related requests and issues from staff, providing timely troubleshooting and technical support.
- Help monitor and maintain hotel network security, backup systems, and data integrity.
- Assist with installation, configuration, and updates of hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Support the IT team in managing POS systems, property management systems (PMS), and other hotel software applications.
- Maintain documentation of IT procedures, equipment, and troubleshooting steps.
- Assist in training hotel staff on IT systems, software usage, and security best practices.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues as needed.
- Monitor inventory of IT equipment and recommend replacements or upgrades under supervision.
- Ensure adherence to the hotel s IT policies and data protection standards.
& Skills
- Previous experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical roles, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Basic knowledge of computer networks, operating and sound systems, and common software applications.
- Familiarity with hotel IT systems (PMS, POS) is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under supervision and assist in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
