The IT Application Support Officer supports business applications for the Italian business unit, including the TATSH applications suite.
Application and user support
- Support end users through email and telephone, resolve technical problems promptly, and keep staff informed of request status.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize user problems and complaints; analyze issues and plan resolutions.
- Use technical resources to solve problems, advise users on appropriate actions, and provide professional customer service.
- Recommend user training, TATSH enhancements, and communication materials based on support requests.
Help desk operations
- Follow standard help desk procedures, log interactions, and administer help desk software.
- Redirect problems to appropriate resources and escalate situations requiring urgent attention.
- Track and route problems and requests, document resolutions, and record standard application solutions in the IT knowledge base.
- Prepare activity reports and remain current on system information, changes, and updates.
Training and additional duties
- Participate in departmental training on new technologies, procedures, and customer-service improvements.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the manager.
Experience and languages
- Requires at least 2 years of application-support experience.
- English is required; Italian is described as ideal.
