IT Support / IT Administrator
Position Summary
The IT Support / IT Administrator is responsible for providing technical support, managing IT systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of all technology-related services within the organization. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing user accounts, supporting network infrastructure, and assisting in the deployment and maintenance of IT systems and security tools. The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide first- and second-level technical support to end users (Windows, macOS, mobile devices).
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues.
- Handle IT support, service requests, and incidents in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Support remote users through VPN or remote-access solutions.
System & Network Administration
- Manage and maintain Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IP Telephone,file servers, and group policies administering o365 services
- Conduct user onboarding/offboarding, including account provisioning and access permissions.
- Support the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure (switches, routers, access points,cctv).
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Security & Compliance
- Assist in enforcing IT security policies and standards across the organization.
- Support endpoint security tools (antivirus, EDR/XDR, DLP, encryption).
- Ensure regular patching, updates, and secure configurations on all devices.
- Help in monitoring and responding to security alerts or unusual system activity.
- Maintain data backup systems and support disaster recovery procedures.
IT Operations & Asset Management
- Maintain up-to-date inventory of IT equipment, software, and licenses.
- Ensure timely procurement, setup, and deployment of IT assets.
- Document IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, and network diagrams.
- Support company-wide IT projects, upgrades, and system rollouts.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- 2–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or related field.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Server, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, Wi-Fi).
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues and perform basic repairs.
- Knowledge of security tools (AV/EDR, MFA, email security, DLP) is a plus.
- Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) is an advantage.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently.
