IT Administrator

About This Role

Bin Fadel Ready-mix is seeking an IT Administrator to support day-to-day IT operations at our Abu Dhabi office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure, providing technical support to employees, and ensuring the smooth and secure operation of all IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support IT infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, email servers, network switches, wireless networks, firewalls, data/voice cabling, PCs, laptops, printers, and AV equipment.
• Provide technical support to employees by resolving IT service requests in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Configure system settings, permissions, and policies as required.
• Install, update, and maintain software, hardware drivers, and system applications.
• Support Office 365, Active Directory, and ERP systems.
• Monitor and manage firewall, antivirus, email archiving, backup systems, CCTV, biometrics, IP telephony, and access control systems.
• Assist with onboarding by creating user accounts and system access.
• Investigate and diagnose network issues; prepare daily and weekly reports for the IT Manager.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets and procedures.
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Stay updated with the latest IT technologies and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or in Virtualization are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience in the UAE.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical issues in a clear and user-friendly manner.
