Internship overview
Internship designed to develop a Year 3 IFF ISIPCA student's market awareness, technical skills, and professional maturity for a future in perfumery.
Combines creative training, fragrance formulation practice, category immersion, consumer understanding, scientific exposure, and mentorship.
Role is based in Dubai and works alongside Scent Design & Creation and cross-functional teams.
Where you'll make a difference
- Support multiple local and regional projects across the perfumery organization.
- Contribute to creative fragrance projects with guidance from experienced perfumers and fragrance professionals.
- Complete a creative brief exercise to develop technical and creative perfumery skills.
- Assist with fragrance evaluations and sensory learning activities to strengthen olfactory capabilities.
- Learn and apply laboratory safety, organization, and sample handling best practices.
- Support Scent Design Group initiatives to deepen understanding of fragrance development.
Candidate requirements
- Currently enrolled in Year 3 of the ISIPCA Scent Design and Creation program.
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Additional local language skills relevant to the location are an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
- Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and openness to feedback and development.
- Ability to work in a laboratory environment and follow established safety and quality standards.
