Role Description

The Investment Analysis Manager is a part-time role based in Dubai with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site presence with some work-from-home flexibility.

The role involves evaluating construction and real estate investment opportunities, preparing financial models, and assessing project feasibility and risks.

The person in this role will monitor project performance against budgets, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to improve returns.

Daily responsibilities include preparing investment reports and presentations for senior management, supporting capital budgeting decisions, and reviewing contracts and project proposals from a financial perspective.

The Investment Analysis Manager will also collaborate with project, finance, and procurement teams to ensure investment decisions align with the company’s strategic and financial objectives.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills, including critical thinking, problem solving, and the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
  • Solid finance knowledge, including investment appraisal, capital budgeting, and understanding of construction or real estate financial models.
  • Experience with budgeting and cost control, including forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, including use of spreadsheets and analytics tools to build and maintain financial models and dashboards.
  • Foundational accounting skills, with understanding of financial statements, project accounting, and cash flow management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; a relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is an advantage.
  • Experience in construction, contracting, or real estate development is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a part-time, hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
