Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for a Procurement Manager based in Abu Dhabi, with the flexibility to work both on-site and from home.
The Procurement Manager will oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle, including identifying needs, sourcing suppliers, evaluating proposals, and managing purchase orders in line with company policies.
The role involves negotiating contracts, managing supplier performance, and maintaining accurate procurement records and reports.
The Procurement Manager will collaborate with finance, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
The role also includes monitoring market trends, assessing potential cost savings, and supporting the development and improvement of procurement processes and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong procurement and sourcing experience, including hands-on involvement in Procurement and Supplier Evaluation.
- Demonstrated expertise in Contract Negotiation and Contract Management, with the ability to secure favorable terms and ensure compliance.
- Proficient Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret data, compare supplier offers, and support strategic purchasing decisions.
- Experience using procurement or ERP systems and solid proficiency with spreadsheets and basic reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are an advantage.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, ethical sourcing standards, and relevant regulations in the UAE is preferred.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, work independently with limited supervision, and meet deadlines in a part-time schedule.
