We are hiring an
Internal Audit Manager
for one of our clients, a well-established insurance company in the UAE.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced internal audit professional with a strong background in the UAE insurance sector, leading risk-based audits, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the annual risk-based internal audit plan.
- Lead internal audit engagements across business and operational functions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, governance, and risk management processes.
- Ensure compliance with CBUAE regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare audit reports, present findings, and recommend corrective actions.
- Follow up on audit observations and support continuous process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, CPA, or CA are preferred.
- Proven experience working as an
Internal Audit Manager
or in a similar role within a UAE insurance company.
Requirements
- Current or recent experience in a similar position within a UAE insurance company is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of internal audit methodologies, risk management, and corporate governance.
- Familiarity with CBUAE regulations and the UAE insurance regulatory environment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and report-writing skills.
