Instructional Design Specialist

Qualifications

• Required Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Learning, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of instructional design experience with responsibility for end-to-end creation of instructor-led and/or eLearning materials in a corporate or education environment.
• Demonstrated experience applying instructional design frameworks and adult learning principles.
• Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (uploading SCORM/AICC content, testing, light troubleshooting).
• Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Preferred
• Experience with graphic/multimedia tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video/animation development.
• Familiarity with SCORM/AICC standards, accessibility best practices, and Kirkpatrick evaluation methodology.
• Instructional design experience in a large, multi-site corporate environment (e.g., corporate offices, manufacturing/distribution).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex content into clear learning experiences for diverse audiences.
• Ability to build productive, collaborative relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• The approximate pay range for this position is $76,000 to $100,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
