Inspector - E&I role with Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore in Abu Dhabi.

Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.
- At least 10 years of inspection experience in oil and gas and petrochemical industries.
- Experience inspecting construction and brownfield modifications to electrical distribution systems, including 33 kV, 11 kV, 3.3 kV, and 415 V systems and associated equipment.
- Experience applying EPC contractor and vendor documentation to construction, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems, including DCS, ESD, Fire and Gas, control room architecture, and package boiler instrumentation.
- Experience liaising with EPC contractors, manufacturers, and clients during electrical equipment FAT and SAT.
- Good knowledge of ISO and other international standards; fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Attend inspections with client and EPC contractor representatives for power distribution, instrument installations, switchgear, control gear, cathodic protection, HVAC, UPS, and associated systems.
- Prepare and review method statements and ITPs with QA/QC and project engineers.
- Prepare QA/QC reports on inspections, materials, and nonconformance issues; verify corrective actions.
- Check site drawings and documents for approval status and project compliance.
- Function-test control valves, SDVs, and ESDVs.
- Ensure equipment and special tools are available, calibrated, and supported by valid certificates.
- Attend FAT and SAT for HV and LV electrical equipment and perform quality control of electrical materials received at site.
- Prepare concise weekly and monthly inspection reports.
