Role Overview
Lead the delivery of innovation and analytics solutions for a specialist financial institution supporting financial stability.
The newly created role reports to the Head of Strategy and Projects.
The role owns the delivery approach for AI, analytics, and decision-support initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy decision-support and analytics solutions within defined policy and responsible-use frameworks.
- Develop prototypes and proofs of concept.
- Apply project and change management discipline to support governance and track progress without slowing delivery.
- Work closely with IT to align initiatives with enterprise architecture, technology standards, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Drive impact through solutions that are built and adopted.
- Train, coach, and share knowledge to develop internal practitioner-developers.
- Raise organization-wide capability in AI, analytics, and decision-support tools.
Candidate Profile
- Bring recent hands-on experience building and deploying AI solutions used within a business on current-generation technology.
- Bring tangible delivery experience in AI, including the ability to build solutions personally.
- Translate business requirements with subject matter experts while applying technical depth and commercial judgement.
- Apply project and change management rigour.
- Understand governance, risk, and the responsible use of data and AI.
- Backgrounds in quantitative analysis or data science are welcome when supported by AI delivery experience.
- Working knowledge of financial markets products and services is advantageous.
- A tertiary qualification in a quantitative, analytical, technology, or finance discipline is desirable.
