Industrial Product Design Engineer

Design and develop industrial products based on business, project, client, and market requirements.

Conduct product research, market benchmarking, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies.

Prepare product concepts, sketches, layouts, technical drawings, 3D models, renderings, and design presentations.

Use AutoCAD, Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software to create accurate 2D and 3D product designs.

Support prototype development, product mock-ups, sample reviews, product testing, and design validation.

Review and improve existing product designs for functionality, durability, quality, cost efficiency, and manufacturability.

Research materials, components, manufacturing processes, suppliers, and product standards.

Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, vendors, production teams, sales teams, and management for product development requirements.

Prepare technical specifications, design reports, product documentation, and presentation materials.

Ensure product designs meet safety, quality, operational, technical, and client requirements.

Support design modifications based on feedback from management, clients, production teams, or testing results.

Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, prototypes, samples, and product development records.

Assist in supplier coordination for materials, components, samples, fabrication, and technical requirements.

Present product design concepts, research findings, and product development updates to management.

Strong product design and industrial product development skills.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, and other 2D/3D design software.

Ability to create 2D drawings, 3D models, renderings, product concepts, layouts, and presentations.

Strong product research, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking skills.

Knowledge of industrial products, materials, components, and manufacturing processes.

Understanding of prototyping, fabrication, product testing, and design improvement.

Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

Strong technical documentation and report-writing skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in design work.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and product requirements.

Knowledge of additional software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, SketchUp, Blender, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe InDesign is an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in product design, industrial product development, product research, or engineering design is preferred.

Experience using AutoCAD, Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, and other 2D/3D design software is required.
