Role Description
The Industrial Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operational activities for outsourced and offshored industrial projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution.
This part-time hybrid role is based in Abu Dhabi, with a mix of on-site presence at client and company locations and some work-from-home flexibility for planning, reporting, and coordination tasks.
Responsibilities include monitoring production and service performance, optimizing processes, coordinating with client stakeholders, and supporting resource allocation across projects.
The role also involves analyzing operational data, identifying improvement opportunities, implementing standard operating procedures, and ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
The Industrial Operations Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align operations with client expectations, timelines, and contractual requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong industrial operations management capabilities, including experience overseeing production, maintenance, and service delivery in an industrial or energy environment.
- Proficiency in process improvement, workflow optimization, and performance monitoring using operational metrics and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated skills in stakeholder management, cross-functional coordination, and vendor or contractor oversight.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to industrial operations, with a commitment to safe work practices.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under time constraints.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setup, managing on-site responsibilities in Abu Dhabi alongside remote tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management, operations management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in outsourcing, offshoring, or service-based industrial operations in the Gulf region is highly beneficial.
