Role Description
The Merchandising Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site work and remote work from home.
This role is responsible for planning and managing product assortments, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring the right products are available at the right time and place.
The Merchandising Manager will analyze sales performance, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and propose pricing and promotional strategies to optimize product visibility and profitability.
Day-to-day tasks include reviewing store and online merchandising standards, preparing reports and forecasts, supporting customer-facing teams with product information, and aligning merchandising plans with overall business objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Customer Service and Sales skills to understand customer needs and drive product performance.
- Inventory Management and Assortment skills to plan stock levels and build effective product mixes.
- Experience in merchandising, retail, or a related commercial role.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and make evidence-based decisions.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks in a part-time hybrid setting.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets or merchandising/planning tools; familiarity with ERP or retail systems is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field preferred.
