Responsibilities
- Design functional UAV and UUV platforms and develop vehicle capabilities.
- Engineer parts for additive manufacturing, considering DFAM, part consolidation, lightweighting, and post-processing.
Requirements
- Degree in aerospace, mechanical, or industrial design engineering, or a similar field.
- Strong CAD skills in SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Fusion 360, or comparable tools.
- Proven UAV or UUV work, or experience with comparable mechatronic platforms.
- Solid experience with polymer and/or metal additive manufacturing, including DFAM, part consolidation and lightweighting, and post-processing considerations.
- Portfolio showing real parts or prototypes, not only renders.
Bonus experience
- HP Multi Jet Fusion, SLS, SLA, FDM, or metal AM such as DMLS/SLM is a differentiator.
- Composites knowledge, carbon structures, layup constraints, and hybrid printed-composite builds are differentiators.
- CFD or aerodynamic intuition, sealing/IP design, corrosion or galvanic isolation, and small-series production experience are differentiators.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 5,000–8,000 per month.
