Industrial Automation Project Manager - Great Opportunity for Saudi Nationals

Role overview

Project delivery and controls

• Ensure compliance with customer contract requirements and corporate EHS and QA/QC standards.
• Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
• Develop schedules, work breakdown structures, and resource plans using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Track project progress against baseline schedules and implement corrective actions.
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, revenue recognition, profitability, and financial KPIs.
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities and support change orders and contract negotiations.

Customer and team leadership

• Represent Siemens' contractual and commercial interests with customers and clarify requirements with customers and authorities.
• Obtain required licenses and consents and provide feedback and lessons learned.
• Serve as the primary customer contact and manage stakeholders across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and service teams.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and manage issue resolution and escalations.
• Prepare and participate in customer monthly meetings and prepare customer and internal weekly site reports.
• Support claims and claim defenses against customers and contractors and provide substantiation.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics.
• 10 years of professional experience in large EPC projects and 8 years in engineering and contract execution.
• 3 years of experience leading teams of more than 10 people.
• PMP certification or PM@Siemens certification.
• Good skills using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to work as part of a combined client/contractor team.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial automation applications, including DCS and SCADA systems.
