Deliver secure, scalable, production-ready services with US-based technology leads and business partners.
The role emphasizes backend .NET engineering, API delivery, cloud readiness, AI-assisted engineering, and accountable full-stack collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Own design, development, unit and integration testing, implementation, and support for assigned enterprise application components.
- Design and maintain .NET services, APIs, backend components, and batch jobs.
- Translate business and technical requirements into secure, maintainable application modules and APIs.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly and validate quality, security, and compliance.
- Participate in Agile planning, refinement, demos, retrospectives, and production-readiness discussions.
- Collaborate across product, architecture, QA, UX, platform, DevOps, and business teams.
- Troubleshoot issues using logs, monitoring dashboards, traces, and database analysis.
- Document decisions, runbooks, operational impacts, and knowledge-transfer artifacts.
Required Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in enterprise application environments.
- Hands-on C# and .NET development experience.
- Strong SQL skills with Oracle experience and query-level troubleshooting ability.
- Experience building or consuming REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Experience with Agile delivery, Git/GitHub workflows, peer reviews, testing, and DevSecOps.
- Cloud fundamentals are required; AWS exposure is strongly preferred.
- Ability to use AI-assisted development tools and responsibly review generated output.
Preferred Skills
- Python for scripting, batch work, data processing, or automation.
- Angular, React, or TypeScript exposure for full-stack delivery support.
- AWS ECS, Lambda, Batch, CloudWatch, SQS, or similar cloud services.
- Splunk, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, or equivalent observability tools.
- Production application support and incident or problem resolution experience.
- Insurance, benefits, claims, leave, billing, or portal domain experience.
