Imported Food Private Brand Manager

Education and experience
- A bachelor's degree or above is required.
- At least five years of experience in merchandising, product planning, or procurement is required.
- Private brand development and management experience is preferred.
- Experience in overseas product development or cross-border retail is a plus.
Product and category management
- Manage planning, development, and category management for imported food under the private brand portfolio.
- Develop localized product strategies, category structures, and assortment plans using consumer, market, competitive, and user insights.
- Use market research and data analysis to identify opportunities and optimize SKU assortment, pricing, specifications, and category performance.
Product development and launch
- Lead imported private brand product development from product selection through positioning, packaging, pricing, import cost analysis, and launch planning.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers and internal procurement, supply chain, quality, legal, marketing, and operations teams.
Import and compliance
- Coordinate product qualifications, food safety and quality standards, labeling and packaging localization, customs clearance, shelf-life management, and local regulatory compliance.
Performance management
- Monitor sales, profitability, inventory turnover, delivery lead times, and product quality.
- Develop and optimize localized processes for imported private brand food management.
Additional qualifications
- Strong market insight, data sensitivity, retail understanding, and category planning skills are required.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills are required.
- English proficiency as a working language is preferred.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach and ability to adapt quickly are required.
