Overview

The Implementation Coordinator supports senior partners as they translate advice into concrete steps for our clients.

This is a fully remote position that supports our current project workload involving several market entry initiatives in Saudi Arabia this year.

You will help coordinate the flow of information between international investors and regional counterparties as we help them establish their presence in the GCC.

About Gulf Associates

Gulf Associates is a commercial advisory firm focusing on the decisions that shape the Gulf region.

We advise international investors, family groups, and sovereign entities on market entry, regional expansion, and the complex operating realities that follow capital commitments across the GCC.

While our focus is regional, our firm operates as a fully remote team, staying close to commercial data and counterparty realities rather than physical office requirements.

We avoid the standard consulting playbook of massive reports and generic methods.

Instead, we provide direct commercial judgment.

Our work centers on understanding how regional markets actually clear and helping clients decide when to commit or walk away.

About the role

This is a permanent, full-time role for someone looking to build a career in commercial project management or advisory support.

You will be part of a distributed team that manages complex information flows across different jurisdictions.

Because we are a small firm, you will have a clear view of the entire project lifecycle, from initial research to the finalization of joint venture structures.

This position is a remote engagement with a consistent full-time workload, coordinated with our offices in the United Arab Emirates.

What you will do

  • Maintain and update project trackers that monitor the progress of regional market entry plans.
  • Organize client documentation, ensuring all counterparty communications and due diligence materials are indexed correctly.
  • Draft status updates for senior partners regarding partner field mapping and research findings.
  • Update internal spreadsheets with relevant transaction details and findings from commercial meetings.
  • Schedule and coordinate calls between cross-border teams and regional entities across various timezones.
  • Help organize the documentation required for joint venture structures and regulatory submissions.
  • Monitor regional business news to identify events that may affect our ongoing projects or client interests.
  • Verify data points within commercial agreements to ensure administrative accuracy before they are shared.
  • What we look for
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent interest in business, international relations, or a related field.
  • High standard of accuracy when handling files, administrative data, and project logs.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and follow through on long-term tasks without constant reminders.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Professional writing skills, specifically the ability to summarize information in a brief and direct manner.
  • A practical mindset that focuses on helping the team reach a conclusion rather than theoretical analysis.
  • Confidence in handling professional communication with senior counterparties.
  • Helpful background
  • Basic understanding of the business landscape in the Gulf region.
  • Exposure to digital organization tools such as Excel, Notion, or Trello.
  • Experience in an administrative or supportive capacity within a professional environment.
  • Knowledge of different languages used in the region is a plus but not a requirement.
  • What the role offers
  • Fully remote work with No requirement for office attendance or travel.
  • Direct exposure to senior partners and real-world commercial transactions.
  • A professional environment that values directness and honesty over corporate bureaucracy.
  • Opportunity to see how commercial deals are structured and managed from an early stage.
  • The position is paid and offers a stable, full-time workload within a small, expert team.

Working at Gulf Associates

We are a firm that values the right answer over the easy report.

Working here means taking a position and being prepared to support it with logic and data.

We operate as a flat team where every task, from complex analysis to basic coordination, is treated with seriousness.

There are no fees to apply for this role, and we do not require any equipment purchases from candidates.

The role requires a daily overlap of at least five hours with the UAE timezone (GMT+4) to ensure we can coordinate on active projects.

We look for individuals who prefer the practical weight of a deal to the abstraction of traditional consulting.
