Role overview
Full-time, six-days-per-week, on-site ID Inspector role in the site supervision team for a residential project in Dubai.
The role supervises interior fit-out work and ensures compliance with approved drawings, materials, and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Review approved shop drawings and material submittals to ensure site implementation aligns with approved documents.
- Inspect approved materials delivered to site before installation and conduct routine inspections against drawings and specifications.
- Raise NCRs for discrepancies and follow up on rectification.
- Attend and inspect contractor WIRs with the contractor’s QA/QC Engineer and release the WIRs.
- Review method statements from a site implementation perspective following architectural review.
- Monitor progress against the approved programme and report status to the Project Manager.
- Certify executed work percentages for contractor payment applications.
- Conduct site observations and issue SORs for work that does not comply with approved drawings or standards.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- At least 8 years of experience in site supervision of interior fit-out works.
- Consultancy supervision background is mandatory.
- Residential project experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of shop drawings, MIR, WIR, NCR, and SOR processes.
- Strong understanding of quality control and HSE compliance.
- Ability to work on site six days per week.
