About the role

What you'll be doing

• Set direction, priorities, standards, and accountabilities for ICT services and technology-enabled change.
• Oversee ICT infrastructure, hardware, networks, telephony, software, and services across project locations from planning to decommissioning.
• Direct software and systems delivery, including requirements, design, development, configuration, testing, integration, deployment, and support transition.
• Lead ICT staff, developers, teams, and suppliers; resolve priorities and escalate matters requiring senior intervention.
• Manage procurement, contracts, service levels, licences, suppliers, and budgets, and assure delivery against approved performance expectations.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project controls, security, data protection, governance, quality, and change-control requirements.
• Monitor availability and resilience; lead major incident escalation, recovery, and restoration; apply lessons learned.

What you'll bring

• Broad ICT knowledge across infrastructure, networks, cloud, enterprise architecture, systems integration, software, hardware, licensing, and service management.
• Ability to lead software development, digital transformation, and systems implementation using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methods.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Automate, and their governance.
• Working knowledge of cyber and information security, data protection, quality assurance, governance, and change control.
• Commercial experience with contracts, licences, service levels, suppliers, budgets, and resources; ability to apply risk controls and assurance.
• Substantial experience leading ICT operations, infrastructure, and technology change in a large project or programme organization.
• Experience directing multidisciplinary teams and suppliers, reporting to senior stakeholders, and managing contracts, service performance, budgets, and commercial outcomes.
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience in a related discipline.
• Project management certification is desirable; construction controls, CDEs, BIM, ISO 19650, Azure, and major infrastructure experience are advantageous.
