Consultant role focused on IBM Cognos Analytics, Power BI, and reporting solutions.
Required experience and skills
- At least 3 years of IBM Cognos Analytics and 2 years of Microsoft Power BI experience.
- Power Query, M language, DAX, and advanced SQL, with Oracle and/or SQL Server.
- Dashboard development, KPI reporting, and data visualization.
- Data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data validation and reconciliation, testing, UAT, and production support.
- Report scheduling, performance optimization, and row-level security.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Cognos reports and Power BI dashboards.
- Gather business requirements and define KPIs and reporting specifications.
- Write and optimize SQL queries and validate data accuracy.
- Manage report refreshes, troubleshooting, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver reliable reporting solutions.
Preferred qualifications
- Banking or financial-services experience is preferred.
- Microsoft PL-300 or IBM Cognos certification is preferred.
- Oracle SQL, TOAD, Python, or Microsoft Fabric knowledge is preferred.
- Arabic and English reporting experience is preferred.
