Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll, salaries, allowances, overtime, deductions, and final settlements.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records and HR master data.
- Prepare payroll reconciliations and ensure accuracy of payroll transactions.
- Calculate end-of-service benefits, leave encashment, and other employee payments.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and employees to resolve payroll-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare payroll reports, analyses, and supporting documentation for audits.
- Support budgeting and forecasting related to employee compensation and benefits.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of payroll accounting experience.
- Experience with payroll systems and ERP software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, reconciliations, and labor law requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
