Role Description
The Human Resources Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, responsible for overseeing the full HR function and serving as a strategic partner to leadership.
This role develops, implements, and maintains HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with organizational goals.
Day-to-day responsibilities include managing employee relations, advising managers on performance management, and supporting leaders in handling sensitive or complex people matters.
The Human Resources Director will oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, guide workforce planning, and coordinate learning and development initiatives.
This role also ensures compliance with labor and employment laws, manages HR reporting and metrics, and drives initiatives that support a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Strong Human Resources (HR) leadership experience, including strategic planning, HR operations oversight, and team management.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures (HR Policies) that support organizational objectives.
- Demonstrated expertise in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, coaching, and supporting an inclusive and respectful workplace.
- Hands-on experience with Performance Management processes, including goal setting, feedback, evaluations, and development planning.
- Solid understanding of Labor and Employment Law, with the ability to ensure compliance and provide guidance to leadership and staff.
- Proven ability to work with senior leadership as a strategic partner, influencing decisions with data and sound judgment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is an asset.
- Experience working in Riyadh or the broader region and familiarity with local labor regulations is highly beneficial.
