Role Description
The Human Resources Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar.
This role supports day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, preparing HR documents, and assisting with onboarding, offboarding, and HR compliance.
The coordinator will help administer benefits, track attendance and leave, and respond to employee inquiries in coordination with the HR team.
Daily responsibilities also include supporting recruitment activities, scheduling interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and assisting in the organization of training sessions and HR-related events.
Qualifications
- Foundational Human Resources skills, including Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with the ability to support day-to-day HR operations.
- Experience with Benefits Administration, including tracking employee entitlements and coordinating with relevant internal or external stakeholders.
- Strong Employee Relations capabilities, with a focus on handling employee inquiries professionally and maintaining confidentiality.
- Understanding of HR policies and procedures, with the ability to help ensure compliance and consistent application across the organization.
- Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law, labor compliance requirements, and employment regulations.
- Experience using Ministry of Labour (MOL) systems and government portals for employment-related processes and documentation.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and administering employment contracts, contract amendments, and other HR-related documentation.
- Ability to monitor labor compliance requirements and ensure timely processing of employee-related regulatory obligations.
- Strong understanding of Qatar's employment lifecycle processes, including work permits, residency permits (QID), sponsorship transfers, visa issuance and renewals, and coordination with relevant government authorities.
- Familiarity with Wage Protection System (WPS) regulations and payroll compliance requirements, ensuring accurate and timely employee salary administration in accordance with Qatar Labour Law.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS or HR software tools, and solid skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and uphold a respectful, inclusive workplace culture.
