We are seeking a skilled and experienced **HSE Officer** to oversee and manage Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives within our organization.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations, implementing safety protocols, and fostering a culture of health and safety among our workforce.
As an integral member of our team, you will help drive improvements in safety practices, minimize risks, and enhance environmental stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in line with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns, implement corrective actions, and enhance operational safety.
- Deliver HSE training programs and awareness sessions to promote a culture of safety across all levels of the organization.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics, generating reports and suggesting areas for improvement.
- Stay current with industry regulations, best practices, and technological advancements to continuously improve the organization's HSE programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of **5 years** of experience in an HSE role, preferably within the [insert industry].
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
- Proficiency in managing risk assessment processes and administering HSE procedures.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead teams.
- Certification in HSE (e.g., **CSP**, **CIH**, **NEBOSH**) is required.
- Can join immediately
- **Must be locally available in Qatar** with a valid QID and a transferrable visa with NOC
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
