Role overview

The employer seeks an experienced HSE Officer for an offshore project assignment expected to last three months.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the HSE Plan and Manual, including the project-specific plan.
  • Implement, review, update, and improve the HSE management system.
  • Raise workforce HSE awareness and promote safety and quality.
  • Provide employee and visitor inductions, safety alerts, and daily toolbox talks.
  • Organize the company Safety Incentive Programme.
  • Conduct internal and second-party audits, monitor findings, and close them effectively.
  • Approve and audit subcontractors and measure their performance.
  • Track legal and other HSE compliance requirements and keep them updated.
  • Deliver basic firefighting and first-aid training and conduct scheduled drills.
  • Lead the Emergency Response Team and assist with operations.
  • Conduct project risk assessments and participate in incident investigations and HSE studies, including HZAOP, HAZID, and SAFOPS.

Requirements

  • Proven offshore experience in the Middle East.
  • ADNOC Offshore approval is mandatory.
  • Three to five years of experience in Middle East Oil & Gas projects.
  • Technical diploma or bachelor's degree.
  • Immediate availability is required.
  • IOSH and NEBOSH certifications are mandatory.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
  • Familiarity with ADNOC standards and Life Saving Rules is listed as a skill.
