Join Currie & Brown’s team in Ajman and work closely with a key client as a Health & Safety Inspector.
What you will do
- Help the QHSE lead implement and maintain company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental systems.
- Verify compliance with applicable legislation, rules, and system requirements across projects.
- Participate in regular project meetings about quality and HSE management.
- Foster a safety and environmental mindset among site teams to improve safety and minimize risks.
- Provide expert advice and input to client projects.
- Review, comment on, and follow up QHSE site reports.
- Report regularly to the Delivery Management Team and client QHSE Lead as required.
What you need
- Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards and proven ability to conduct audits against them.
- Familiarity with construction site inspections, measurement, and relevant testing techniques.
- Experience writing and reviewing quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures or plans.
- Effective communication and a good command of English; multilingual ability is preferred.
- Computer literate, with experience using business productivity tools such as MS Office.
- Graduate of an accredited engineering college, ideally Civil or Architecture.
- Accredited health and safety qualification such as a NEBOSH Diploma or similar.
- At least 15 years of HSE experience and previous experience in a similar UAE role.
