Overview

  • Develop, implement, and monitor SHE policies, programs, and initiatives to uphold legal, corporate, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular SHE audits, risk assessments, and inspections; lead incident investigations and corrective action plans.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans; coordinate drills and training for fire safety, evacuation, and crisis scenarios.
  • Manage facility operations within construction and commercial project environments — overseeing the full project lifecycle, not day-to-day building operations.
  • Coordinate renovation, refurbishment, and fit-out projects ensuring all works comply with SHE and local regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise contractors and third-party vendors on-site, ensuring adherence to company standards and safety protocols.
  • Manage service providers, maintenance contracts, and facility budgets.
  • Ensure all facilities hold valid building licenses and permits and proactively manage their timely renewal in line with Saudi government regulations.
  • Maintain accurate compliance documentation and provide timely reports to government agencies (e.g., Civil Defense, Municipal Authorities) and internal leadership.
  • Lead initiatives for energy efficiency, waste reduction, water management, and green building strategies.
  • Liaise with landlords, government authorities, service providers, and corporate teams on compliance, licensing, and SHE objectives.
  • Evaluate facilities and SHE performance, implement best practices, and identify opportunities for process and operational improvement.

Qualificatons

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of combined experience in SHE and Facility Management, with a focus on large-scale construction or commercial projects from A to Z.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi health, safety, environmental, and building regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience ensuring buildings remain fully licensed and compliant with government requirements.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational, and budgeting capabilities.
