Monitor site activities, conduct audits, enforce safety policies, investigate incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements, and company HSE standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness training for site personnel.
- Review method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work systems.
- Monitor environmental compliance, waste management, and sustainability initiatives.
- Prepare HSE reports, statistics, and regulatory documentation; liaise with project teams, contractors, and clients.
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of HSE experience in construction or engineering consultancy.
- Professional certification such as NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international safety standards.
- Strong communication, reporting, and incident investigation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HSE reporting systems.
