Job responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize code performance in high-performance computing environments.
- Analyze sequential code and convert it to parallel code to improve performance and efficiency.
- Develop and improve parallel software using MPI, OpenMP, and CUDA.
- Use profiling and debugging tools to analyze application performance and identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Work with advanced processor and GPU architectures.
- Support, operate, and optimize applications in supercomputing environments.
- Provide technical support to users, respond to inquiries and complaints, analyze problems, and work toward resolution.
- Collaborate with technical teams and users to maintain efficient and stable HPC applications.
Requirements and qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Systems, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience with parallel-code software and high-performance computing.
- Experience using Linux operating systems.
- Practical experience with parallel programming technologies MPI, OpenMP, and CUDA.
- Knowledge of advanced processor architectures, including Intel Xeon Phi and NVIDIA GPGPU.
- Experience with Allinea DDT and Profiler, Intel Composer Studio, and PGI Compiler.
- Experience with supercomputing management and operation systems, including FEFS, CDM, PBS Pro, DDN, or related systems.
