Housekeeping Attendant reporting to the Housekeeping Manager.
Responsible for assigned guest-room and public-area cleaning and supporting guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest rooms and public areas to hotel standards.
- Monitor floor pantry supplies, including chemicals, linens, amenities, and guest-room stationery.
- Attend daily Housekeeping briefings and follow uniform, grooming, and hygiene standards.
- Follow key-control procedures and hotel security policies.
- Report observations, guest requests, inquiries, and concerns to the Floor Supervisor or Office Coordinator.
- Follow occupational health and safety regulations and Fairmont's Code of Ethics.
- Perform other duties and special projects assigned by Housekeeping leaders.
Qualifications
- Outstanding guest-service skills and professional presentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient in spoken and written English.
- Guest-oriented, proactive, observant, and attentive to detail.
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a changing environment and work with little or no supervision.
- Flexible regarding working hours and a strong team player who cooperates with other departments.
- A second or third language is an asset.
