Role duties
- Inspect cleaned guest rooms, public areas, and pool areas to ensure quality standards.
- Run sold-room reports, verify and update room status, identify discrepancies, and prioritize cleaning.
- Assist housekeeping management with daily activities and coordinate with engineering, front office, and laundry.
- Document and resolve room discrepancies with the front desk; communicate room-assignment changes and shift handovers.
- Complete paperwork and assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees.
- Follow safety and security procedures, report hazards and maintenance issues, complete safety training, and protect company assets and confidential information.
- Welcome guests, address service needs, communicate professionally, maintain positive working relationships, and ensure quality standards.
- Perform physical housekeeping-related tasks and other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least one year of related work experience is preferred.
- At least one year of supervisory experience is preferred.
- No license or certification is listed.
Physical work conditions
- The role requires moving and placing objects up to 55 pounds independently and heavier objects with assistance.
- The role involves pushing and pulling loaded carts over uneven or sloping surfaces and standing, walking, bending, reaching, and handling objects over an extended shift.
- The role involves using computers or point-of-sale systems and reading work-related information.
