About This Role
We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to welcome guests and provide an excellent first impression of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, approachable, and able to manage guest seating efficiently. Arabic-speaking candidates are a definite advantage.
Job Description
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
- Manage reservations and walk-in guest seating efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- Maintain the waiting area in a clean and organized manner
- Communicate guest requests to service staff and kitchen when required
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally
- Ensure smooth coordination between front-of-house staff
- Monitor table availability and optimize seating arrangements
- Assist with opening and closing duties of the restaurant
- Follow hygiene and safety standards at all times
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience as a hostess in a restaurant or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with reservation systems or POS systems
- Professional and approachable appearance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Arabic-speaking candidates are a definite advantage
- Flexible with shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Willing to work in Al Ain
