Hostess role with the food and beverage team across the club's standalone dining outlets.
Serve as the first point of contact for members and guests, providing a warm welcome and managing reservations and seating.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome guests, escort them to tables, and present menus.
- Manage reservations and waitlists using the club booking system and communicate expected wait times.
- Coordinate table turnover and dining-room efficiency during busy periods and events.
- Update servers and management on seating and guest flow; monitor dining-room and patio capacities.
- Assist with dietary needs, accessible seating, large parties, and other special requests.
- Handle guest complaints, escalating as needed.
- Keep the entrance, reception area, and hostess stand clean and welcoming.
- Support patio and outdoor dining during tournaments and events.
Qualifications and schedule
- Previous experience in a standalone food and beverage outlet, such as an independent restaurant, fine-dining venue, or high-end lounge; hotel-only food and beverage experience is not a fit.
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak golf season and major events.
- Well-groomed and polished in line with club standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Calm, friendly, and professional under pressure.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and POS software is a plus.
