- Guide and train the production team on horticultural best practices.
- Provide technical expertise in plant physiology, soil science, nutrition, and growing media.
- Oversee plant care, including pruning, fertilization, pest and weed management.
- Ensure the safe handling, storage, and application of pesticides and herbicides.
- Monitor plant health, maintain plant records, and oversee outdoor plant stock.
- Plan seasonal material requirements and recommend new plant stock.
- Conduct regular training sessions and workshops on horticultural practices.
- Support inventory management, stock takes, and supplier/nursery coordination.
- Promote sustainable production methods and safe working practices.
- Maintain nursery cleanliness and perform other duties assigned by the Production Manager.
