Hookah Maker (Shisha)

Job Purpose

Shisha Preparation and Guest Service

• Prepare and serve shisha according to lounge recipes, standards, and presentation requirements.
• Set up hookah equipment and prepare tobacco or molasses for consistent smoking performance.
• Manage charcoal safely and adjust or replace it during guest sessions.
• Recommend flavors and combinations based on guest preferences.
• Monitor shisha performance and respond promptly to guest requests.

Hygiene, Safety, and Operations

• Clean and sanitize hookah equipment between guests, including hoses, mouthpieces, bowls, and bases.
• Maintain a clean and organized shisha preparation station.
• Follow health, safety, hygiene, lounge, and company procedures.
• Monitor supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with waiters and lounge staff for timely service.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous Hookah Maker, Shisha Specialist, Shisha Attendant, or similar experience is preferred.
• Hospitality experience in a lounge, restaurant, café, or hotel is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of shisha preparation, flavors, charcoal management, and equipment.
• Good understanding of hygiene and sanitation procedures.
• Strong customer-service, communication, teamwork, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy lounge and provide personalized guest service.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
• Good English communication skills; Arabic or other languages are advantageous.

Pay

• Pay is SAR 2,000 to SAR 2,200 per month.
