Role Description
Contract Heating and Air Conditioning Engineer role based on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role covers HVAC design, installation, and commissioning for commercial and industrial facilities.
Responsibilities
- Review project specifications, prepare technical drawings, select equipment, and perform system calculations.
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning; troubleshoot performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company quality requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers; conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports.
- Support maintenance planning for existing systems.
- Optimize HVAC performance for energy efficiency and reliability.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and clients.
Qualifications
- Strong HVAC engineering and system design fundamentals, with practical design and project implementation experience.
- Proficiency in CAD tools for HVAC layouts and schematics.
- HVAC maintenance and repair capabilities for commercial and industrial systems.
- Relevant Mechanical Engineering or related degree, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Knowledge of international HVAC standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Large-scale ventilation or industrial HVAC project experience, preferably in the Middle East.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
