Contract, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Dubai, supporting HVAC and ventilation projects for commercial and industrial settings.
The role works with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical designs and specifications, prepare and review CAD models and drawings, and perform technical calculations.
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams on installation and commissioning.
- Support R&D, troubleshoot project mechanical issues, and work with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders to meet quality, cost, and schedule goals.
Qualifications
- Strong Mechanical Engineering foundation and experience in HVAC and ventilation design.
- Proficiency in machine design and selecting and sizing components for fans, ducts, and related equipment.
- Hands-on CAD experience with 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
- Project management capability and experience contributing to R&D and product improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Knowledge of relevant Middle East mechanical, HVAC, and safety standards and codes.
- Effective communication and collaboration in multicultural project environments.
