Role overview
Full-time Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role based in Dubai, with a hybrid arrangement and some work-from-home flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Inspect equipment, diagnose mechanical issues, and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on HVAC and ventilation systems.
- Plan maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs, and minimize downtime for critical equipment.
- Work with project and operations teams, maintain accurate maintenance records, and follow safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong equipment and mechanical maintenance skills, including hands-on HVAC and ventilation systems experience.
- Proficiency in maintenance engineering, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance planning.
- Relevant Mechanical Engineering or closely related degree or diploma.
- Experience in HVAC, industrial ventilation, or building services engineering; large-scale project experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with safety standards, risk assessments, ISO, and occupational health and safety requirements.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Problem-solving, attention to detail, independent and team-working ability, and good English communication are required.
- Additional regional language skills are advantageous; Middle East or similar-environment experience is beneficial.
